Reporting to the MD, you'll be a key player in RNN Communications' success and growth. You’ll lead the charge in client services, build strong relationships, pitch exciting projects, and ensure everything runs smoothly and profitably.

You'll juggle leadership and hands-on project management, making you essential to our team. You'll embody our agency's values, ensuring we deliver on our promises to clients.

Key Points and Requirements:

  • Ambition & Decision-Making: You are driven, make swift decisions, and are committed to growth.
  • Client Management: Experience in managing client relationships and strong contacts are essential.
  • Creative & Agile: You prefer a dynamic work environment over a 9-5 desk job.
  • Flexibility: Based in Ballynahinch, Co. Down, with travel across Ireland. We work a four-day week (but are paid for five!) with occasional five-day weeks.
  • New Business: Experience or willingness to focus on new business development.
  • Team Spirit: You are fun, thrive in energetic environments, and want to make a mark in a brave and bold agency that values its people!


  • Client Relations: Develop and maintain strong client relationships, pitch for new business, and ensure clients are updated on progress.
  • Social Media: Oversee social media scheduling, content creation, and advertising, ensuring high-quality standards.
  • Media Relations: Monitor media, maintain press relationships, and manage media activities.
  • Communications: Generate written materials, present to various audiences, and ensure high attention to detail in all communications.
  • Business Delivery: Passion for PR, understand client industries, engage in innovative research, and draft strategies for client programs.
  • Leadership: Provide clear direction, guidance and support to junior team members and cross-functional colleagues.
  • Strategy: Develop and contribute to strategic plans that will help clients achieve their goals.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Essential:
    • Degree-level qualification (e.g. PR, Communications, Marketing, CAM).
    • Experience in client/service delivery and marketing/PR across social media.
    • Proficiency in MS Office Suite and relevant software
  • Preferred:
    • 2-3 years as an Account Manager.
    • 6+ years in PR.

  • Communications: Excellent presentation skills, a willingness to speak publicly during presentations and pitches, attention to detail, and ability to provide feedback.
  • Planning: Strong organisational skills and ability to adapt to changing priorities.
  • Creativity: Inspire and encourage idea generation within the team.
  • Teamwork: Supportive, demonstrating team values, and developing junior team members.
  • Professionalism: Composed, excellent brand ambassador, and high quality assurance standards.
  • Leadership: Clear direction, strong decision-making, and support cross-functional teams.
  • Professional Development: Commitment to personal growth and continuous improvement.

Other Points:

  • Travel: This role may require travel within Ireland and occasionally, outside of Ireland.
  • Flexibility: Attendance at events and activities, including evenings and weekends, as required.
