When Lisburn & Castlereagh City Council chose one of the world's most iconic venues to make its boldest investment statement yet, it needed a communications partner that could match the ambition of the moment.
RNN Communications was appointed to lead the PR and communications delivery for the 2026 Tower of London Business & Networking Showcase, a high-profile inward investment event designed to place Lisburn & Castlereagh firmly on the UK's investment map.
Building on the success of a previous 2023 showcase for Lisburn and Castlereagh City Council, this landmark summer 2026 event brought together senior investors, developers, business leaders, policymakers and strategic partners in one of London's most prestigious settings to explore the region's compelling offer across enterprise-led innovation, commercial and industrial development, infrastructure, place-based regeneration and sustainable growth.
RNN Communications was tasked with ensuring the event cut through at the highest level. Our task was to generate strategic coverage, strengthening stakeholder relationships, and amplifying a clear, confident message: that Lisburn & Castlereagh is open for business, rich in talent and capability, and ready to power the next wave of investment-led growth.

The communications brief spanned every phase of the event lifecycle from initial strategy through to post-event evaluation.
RNN Communications was responsible for developing and executing the full PR and promotional programme on behalf of Lisburn & Castlereagh City Council, with delivery, performance and reporting all sitting firmly within scope.
Pre-event activity centred on building meaningful momentum across two distinct markets — Northern Ireland and London/GB — through a targeted PR strategy and messaging framework aligned to the event theme, proactive media outreach to business and the preparation of all press releases, media briefings, key message documents and spokesperson briefing notes.
On the day itself, the RNN Communications Team managed all media activity including photography and video coordination, alongside the production of speaker biographies and on-site communications support.
In the weeks that followed, RNN Communications led a sustained post-event programme issuing targeted press releases and driving coverage of any investment leads or announcements to emerge from the programme.

The full campaign concluded with a detailed PR impact and evaluation report, measuring media coverage secured, reach and engagement across both markets, and providing the Council with a clear picture of communications performance against its inward investment objectives.
