Christina Bennington in Bat Out Of Hell
On a whistle stop two days in London at the start of the week, Riki visited the London Coliseum to check out one of the biggest blockbusters to hit the west end this summer – Bat Out Of Hell featuring Belfast’s very own Christina Bennington.
“So many of the cast in Bat Out Of Hell would be worthy winners of any musical accolade with immense, powerful voices that bellowed throughout the Coliseum on Monday night.
“From the big ballads, such as It’s All Coming Back to Me Now, I Would Do Anything for Love, to to the lesser known songs, the incredible stars of the stage delivered three hours of live, epic vocals, whilst performing and telling the Jim Steinman story.
“Teamed with Andrew Polec as Strat, Christina Bennington (who plays Raven) delivered an electrifying performance, telling a story of rebellious love… through a rock ‘n’ roll filter! Bat Out Of Hell runs until 5 Aug so if you’re in London over the summer, it’s well worth checking out!”
